Terminology

In an attempt to clarify how I use some of the terminology I will continue to add definitions to this glossary as I use them

Brainwriting

• Brainwriting is a technique where participants write down ideas and then pass them on to the next person, moving them around the group as participants build on the ideas of others. In person this might be on cards, if online we would use online whiteboard, shared document or tool e.g. Jamboard.

Digital

• Applying the culture, processes, business models and technologies of the internet era to respond to people’s raised expectations. Via public digital

Knowledge work

• "The key indicator is that a knowledge worker "thinks" for a living instead of performing physical tasks. Other indicators may include the ability to develop new products or services, solve complex problems, handle complex mechanisms autonomously, focus on quality over quantity and work relatively independently."
